The case for one-to-one

Group training is brilliant for most people.
FPT is for everyone else.

You have a specific goal, a specific timeline, or a specific constraint - a competition, a surgery to come back from, a body you've worked with for forty years that has its own rulebook. You don't need a class. You need a coach.

Who FPT is for

The cases that need
a 1:1 lane.

FPT is built for moments and missions where attention isn't a luxury - it's the only thing that gets the result.

01

The executive return.

You've been heads-down for years. Your body is paying for it. You want to be strong, mobile, and energized at 55 the way you weren't at 35 - and you don't have time to figure it out alone.

02

The athlete's edge.

You compete or you used to. You want sport-specific programming, performance metrics, and a coach who plans your season - not your single session.

03

The post-injury rebuild.

Surgery, accident, chronic pain. You're cleared to train but the gym-class version won't work. You need a coach who programs around the body you have today.

04

The private preference.

You prefer the room to yourself. The schedule to flex around your week. The full attention of a coach who knows what you ate last Tuesday and why your sleep dipped this month.

From the floor

What 1:1 actually
looks like.

One coach, one client, real sessions. This is the room, the rapport, and the form-cue work that defines FPT.

The arc

Four steps,
built around you.

No two FPT plans look alike. The starting frame is the same.

01

Consult

Free 15-20 minute call with Sheryl. Goal, timeline, history, constraints. From there we match you to the right coach.

02

Assessment

In-person movement assessment, strength baselines, body composition if relevant. Your coach builds your starting profile.

03

Program

A custom plan for your first phase - sessions, nutrition framework, recovery markers. Adjusted as you progress.

04

Train

1:1 sessions on your schedule. Weekly check-ins. Quarterly re-assessment. The plan evolves with the result.

Engagements

Built on the consult.
Not on the page.

Pricing depends on session volume and coach pairing. We don't list rates publicly because a 2x/week strength rebuild and a 4x/week transformation push aren't the same engagement. Book the free consult and we'll quote you on the call.

FPT clients often pair 1:1 sessions with select FGT group classes. We'll structure that on the consult if it fits your goal.

Before the consult

Quiet questions, plainly answered.

How do I know which coach is the right fit?

Sheryl matches you on the consult call. We look at your goal, training history, schedule, and personality - then pair you with the coach whose specialty and style fit best. If the first match isn't right, we re-pair. Not a problem.

Can I do FPT and FGT together?

Yes - many do. Some clients run 2 FPT sessions a week plus 1-2 FGT classes for variety and community. The program is built around the mix.

What about confidentiality? I'm well-known in Edmonton.

Discretion is standard. Private sessions, off-peak hours by request, no social-media tags, no testimonial use without explicit permission. We work with executives and public figures regularly - your training stays your training.

Is there a hybrid / virtual option?

In-person is the foundation. For travel weeks or executive schedules we offer programming + check-ins remotely between in-person blocks. We structure it on the consult call.
